What Web hosting packages are available and how do I order?back to top

We offer a variety of Web hosting packages. The Starter Package, included with Comcast Business Class Internet, provides a custom domain name and up to three pages of content. What are the costs for additional storage for email, websites, etc.?back to top

If you need additional storage for your website, it may be time to upgrade from your Starter Package. We offer a wide range of Web hosting options to adequately satisfy your websites growing need for storage.

What is SiteBuilder?back to top

SiteBuilder is a template-driven, online website development tool that allows you to create a rich, customized website without needing to have any knowledge of HTML code.

Am I able to view Web traffic reports for my domain?back to top

Yes. Comcast Business Class Reporting Tools enable you to see how much traffic your website generates.

What is my domain pointer?back to top

A domain pointer is a Web hosting feature that allows you to automatically send Web visitors from one or more of your domain names to your primary website. Domain pointers also give you the ability to point a domain to a subdirectory acting as a stand-alone website.

What are the data transfer limits for each Web hosting package?back to top

Each one of our Web hosting upgrade packages have unlimited data transfer, so no additional charges will be incurred for any overages. Only the Starter Package is limited to 100MB of data transfer. Contact a support representative for the overage rate for your location.

What is the difference between Static IP and a Dynamic IP?back to top

Generally, a Static IP address will never change. In contrast, a Dynamic IP has the potential to change at any given interval.

When would I want to use Static IP?back to top

A Static IP will allow you to assign your own server or firewall with a public static-routable IP. For example, you could run an e-mail, Web, or VPN server. Learn more about Static IP

Norton Business Suite provides protection for up to 25 computers against viruses, spam, and pop-ups. Available for both PC and Mac users.

Can I download Norton software to more than one computer?back to top

Yes, you can download the Norton security software for up to 25 computers. Should you require additional licenses contact an account representative to discuss your options.

The Comcast IP Gateway's firewall provides essential protection for your business by blocking unwanted users and data traffic from entering your local area network (LAN). Additional features include:

Do I have to pay extra for Microsoft® Exchange Server?back to top
