The rate for Business Voice and Business Internet Equipment is being increased to $12.95 per month, plus applicable taxes.
At Comcast, we strive to minimize passing expenses on to our customers. However, from time to time it is necessary to increase certain fees in order to keep pace with the costs of running our business. In the last several years, we have made significant upgrades to our network, customer equipment and software in order to provide a fast and reliable experience for Comcast Business customers.
Why is the equipment fee being increased?
Comcast Business Services continues to invest in the next-generation technology and equipment needed for our customers. As a result of these investments and the increased cost of doing business, Business Services is changing its equipment fee for Business Internet and Business Voice customers to $12.95 per month, plus tax.
Does the fee cover both Internet and Voice equipment?
Yes. The $12.95 monthly fee covers equipment for both Comcast Business Internet and Voice services.
Why does Comcast charge an equipment fee?
The fee covers Comcast’s cost of maintaining customer leased equipment for connection to our network.
We appreciate your business and are committed to delivering reliable service and support, and improving the quality of your service. If you have additional questions about the equipment fee, please contact Customer Service at 800-391-3000.
