PHILADELPHIA – November 23, 2020 – Comcast Business today announced that it has been named a 2020 Pilothouse Top Provider for managed SD-WAN by the global research-based advisory and consulting firm, Nemertes. The award is based on quantitative metrics from enterprise organizations that use products and services from technology providers in this category. 
Nemertes Pilothouse awards combine user sentiment data with quantitative measures of enterprise success in providing IT services to identify top-performing service providers who demonstrably help their clients succeed. 

Nemertes collected information on participants’ primary SD-WAN solution providers. From those using managed SD-WAN, they collected information for 12 service providers. Participants rated providers on a scale of zero to ten based on how likely they would be to recommend their current provider to others (zero = would never; 10 = would always). Scores averaged 7.71, with a range from 6.75 to 8.25. Comcast Business received the highest average rating at 8.25.

Nemertes conducted this research study, entitled Nemertes 2020-21 Next Generation Networking, from January through March of 2020. We interviewed and surveyed IT leaders and C-level executives from 389 organizations headquartered in 10 countries. We gathered data on WAN use cases and usage patterns, technology adoption, performance and agility success metrics, costs, and vendor ratings in SD-WAN and WAN-Cloud Exchanges
