Email is changing


Microsoft is replacing the Hosted Exchange email platform with Microsoft Office 365.

Office 365 offers you options for email and storage capacity. As a result, we’re retiring the Hosted Exchange offering and will no longer offer it with Comcast Business Internet service.

You’ll start receiving communications with options for migrating your company's email service to Office 365. These communications will go to the primary email address we have on file for your business. So please check SPAM folders to ensure you receive them.

You’ll also get information about what to do if you don’t want to migrate.

Why the upgrade?
In our ongoing efforts to better serve you, we want to make sure you have the most up-to-date technology offered in the market. In this case, it’s the Office 365 platform.

What’s happening as the upgrade rolls out?
You’ll receive communications from us with instructions on how to begin your migration. Just follow the instructions and we’ll take it from there – which means nothing more for you to do. We also notify you when it’s complete.

You maintain access to your email throughout the migration process. However, we ask that you don’t add or delete users for 48 hours before your migration date/time.

What are the benefits of this migration?

Office 365 is the latest version of email. It’s easily upgradeable to full online and desktop versions of Office 365, which offers reliability, availability, and performance.

Plus, with Microsoft hosting your email, automatic backup and disaster recovery are built in.

How do you access your email account after the migration date?
Once migrated, you can access email through the Cloud Solutions Marketplace.

How do you access email on Office 365?
Just enter portal.office.com in your browser. You’ll be able to sign in to your Office 365 account with your username and password.

How do you access the Cloud Solutions Marketplace?
Enter upware.comcast.com in your browser.

What happens if you forget or lose your password for “My Account”?

Just click here to reset your password.

What if you don't want to migrate to Office 365?

You’ll have the opportunity to download a .pst file with your email data. This lets you take emails, directories, calendar, and contact list to another email provider.
