Set up Simultaneous Ring on your Business Voice line

Introduction

Simultaneous Ring allows you to configure up to 10 phone numbers to ring at the same time as your primary phone number. If you would like to set up a list of numbers to ring in sequence, please read Set up Sequential Ring on your Business Voice line.

Note: Access to this feature may require the purchase of a Business Voice Mobility line. For more information, contact a Business sales representative at 1-800-391-3000. Mobility lines are not available in all areas.

Access Simultaneous Ring settings

  1. Step 1:

    Sign in to My Account and select Manage Phone.

  2. Step 2:

    Select Advanced from the Call Features menu.

Manage Simultaneous Ring settings

  1. Step 1:

    In the Simultaneous Ring section, select Edit.

  2. Step 2:

    Enter the phone number(s) that you would like to ring along with your primary phone number. Select Answer confirmation required for each number if you would like the person answering the call to first verify they want to receive it by pressing a key on the phone keypad.

    If desired, select the checkbox to disable Simultaneous Ring if you are already on a call.

  3. Step 3:

    Once the information is entered, set Simultaneous Ring to On. Select Save when you are finished.

  4. Step 4:

    Changes should take effect immediately. Click OK to see a summary of your settings in the Simultaneous Ring section of the Phone Panel page.
