Business Voice customers can elect to receive voicemail transcripts as well as voicemail files via email. The Readable Voicemail feature converts your voicemail to text using automated speech recognition. This feature is particularly helpful for those customers who may be deaf or hard of hearing.
Note: This feature may not be available in all areas.
Sign in to My Account and select Manage Phone.
Select Settings from the Voicemail menu.
Set Readable Voicemail to On.
Select Edit in the Set up notifications field.
Select the checkbox if you would like to display a Readable Voicemail transcript in the email notification.
Select the checkbox if you would also like to receive an audio file attached to the email notification.
Enter the email address (or addresses) at which you would like to receive the notification.
Select Done to save your information.
Set Voicemail Notifications to On, then select Save.
Your account is now configured to send you an email with a transcript and audio file when you receive a voicemail.
