Introduction

Use Call Forwarding to redirect calls to another number if you will be out of the office for an extended period of time or do not want to miss high priority calls.

The following content is only applicable to Business Voice and VoiceEdge Select customers. Business VoiceEdge customers should refer to Manage Call Forwarding for Business VoiceEdge.

Manage Call Forwarding settings

  1. Sign in to My Account and select Phone from the Services menu.


     
  2. Expand the Features section and select Call Forwarding.

  3. The Call Forwarding menu offers the ability to manage all Call Forwarding features in a single location.

 

Call Forwarding Not Reachable

  1. Select the Pencil icon to enter the destination phone number or extension to forward the incoming calls. Select the Checkmark to confirm.

  2. Select the toggle to turn the feature on.

    Note: To activate Call Forwarding Not Reachable from your phone, dial *59 and wait for the voice prompts. To deactivate Call Forwarding Not Reachable from your phone, dial *59.


     

Call Forwarding Always

  1. Select the Pencil icon to enter the destination phone number or extension to forward the incoming calls and select the Checkbox to enable Play ring reminder when a call is forwarded. Select the Checkmark to confirm.

  2. Select the toggle to turn the feature on.

    Note: To activate Call Forwarding Always from your phone, dial *72 and wait for the voice prompts. To deactivate, dial *73.


     

Call Forwarding Busy

  1. Select the Pencil icon to enter the destination phone number or extension to forward the incoming calls. Select the Checkmark to confirm.

  2. Select the toggle to turn the feature on.

    Note: To activate Call Forwarding Busy from your phone, dial *90 and wait for the voice prompts. To deactivate, dial *91.


     

Call Forwarding No Answer

  1. Select the Pencil icon to enter the destination phone number or extension to forward the incoming calls. Select the Number of rings before forwarding the call from the dropdown. Select the Checkmark to confirm.

  2. Select the toggle to turn the feature on.

    Note: To activate Call Forwarding No Answer from your phone, dial *92 and wait for the voice prompts. To deactivate, dial *93.


     

Call Forwarding Selective

  1. Select the Pencil icon to enter the destination phone number or extension to forward the incoming calls and select the Checkbox to enable the Play ring reminder when a call is forwarded option. Select the Checkmark to confirm.

  2. Select Add new rule.

    Note: To activate Call Forwarding Selective from your phone, dial *63 and wait for the voice prompts. To deactivate, dial *83.

  3. Enter the rule details and select Save. The feature will be enabled automatically.

    Note: Time or Holiday schedules must be set in advance of creating a rule. Please refer to Manage time and holiday schedules for VoiceEdge Select.
