Introduction

Use Call Forwarding to redirect calls to another number if you will be out of the office for an extended period of time. 

Manage Call Forwarding settings

  1. Step 1:

    Sign in to My Account and select VoiceEdge from the Manage Services dropdown.

  2. Step 2:

    Expand the Feature Settings section and select Call Forwarding.

  3. Step 3:

    The Call Forwarding menu offers the ability to manage all Call Forwarding features in a single location.

Call Forwarding Always

Turn the Call Forwarding Always feature On or Off.

Select the Pencil icon to enter the destination phone number or extension to forward the incoming calls and select the Checkbox to enable Play ring reminder when a call is forwarded. Select the Checkmark to confirm.

Note: To activate Call Forwarding Always from your phone, dial *72 and wait for the voice prompts. To deactivate Call Forwarding Always from your phone, dial *73.

Call Forwarding Busy

Turn the Call Forwarding Busy feature On or Off.

Select the Pencil icon to enter the destination phone number or extension to forward the incoming calls. Select the Checkmark to confirm.

Note: To activate Call Forwarding Busy from your phone, dial *90 and wait for the voice prompts. To deactivate Call Forwarding Busy from your phone, dial *91.

Call Forwarding No Answer

Turn the Call Forwarding No Answer feature On or Off.

Select the Pencil icon to enter the destination phone number or extension to forward the incoming calls. Select the Number of Rings Before Forwarding the call from the dropdown. Select the Checkmark to confirm.

Note: To activate Call Forwarding No Answer from your phone, dial *92 and wait for the voice prompts. To deactivate Call Forwarding No Answer from your phone, dial *93.

Call Forward Not Reachable

Turn the Call Forward Not Reachable feature On or Off.

Select the Pencil icon to enter the destination phone number or extension to forward the incoming calls. Select the Checkmark to confirm.

Call Forwarding Selective

  1. Step 1:

Turn the Call Forwarding Selective feature On or Off.

Select the Pencil icon to enter the destination phone number or extension to forward the incoming calls and select the Checkbox to enable the Play ring reminder when a call is forwarded option. Select the Checkmark to confirm.

Select Add new rule.

Note: Call Forwarding Selective cannot be enabled unless there is at least one active Call Forwarding Selective rule created.

  1. Step 2:

    Enter the rule details in the Rule details and Call types section. Select Add rule.

    Note: Time or holiday schedules must be set in advance of creating a rule. Please refer to Manage time and holiday schedules for Business VoiceEdge.

  2. Step 3:

    Select the Expand icon and Manage rule to edit a rule.
