Manage Music on Hold for Business VoiceEdge

Business VoiceEdge Admins can use the Music On Hold feature to play audio files when callers are placed on hold.

Configure Music on Hold

  1. Step 1:

    Sign in to My Account and select VoiceEdge Admin from the Manage Services dropdown.

  2. Step 2:

    Expand the Advanced Settings section and select Music On Hold.

  3. Step 3:

    In the General Settings section, select the Pencil icon to edit the selected music. Upload a .WAV file if you opt to play custom music.

    Note: The following file restrictions for uploading custom audio files:

    Music On-Hold maximum is one 10-minute file.

    The message needs to be encoded in a .wav file format using 8kHz, mono, 8bit, mu-law settings.

    The maximum size of the file is 5MB.

    Enable or disable music to play during Call Hold and Call Park. Select the Checkmark to confirm.

  4. Step 4:

    In the Internal Call Settings section, select the Pencil icon to edit Music On Hold settings for internal callers. Select the Checkmark to confirm.
