Lincoln Property Company Boston Offers Comcast Business Services to their Tenants to provide a State-of-the-Art Business Environment
Boston, MA and Philadelpia, PA – October 03, 2011
– Commercial real estate management firm, Lincoln Property Company Boston
, and Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), one of the nation's leading providers of communications, information and entertainment products and services, have formed an agreement that will bring Comcast Business high-speed Internet, voice and television services to tenants throughout the Boston metro region.
As part of this announcement, Lincoln Property Company Boston is rolling out Comcast Business Services to a number of properties across its 12 million square feet of its managed portfolio in the Greater Boston area. The company is one of the largest property and asset management, brokerage, consulting, development and construction management firms in New England, and is the regional office of Lincoln Property Company
, a nationally-recognized real estate firm, with 128.8 million square feet of property nationwide under its management – representing a combined value of more than $26.5 billion.
“When you are managing millions of square feet of property, installation speed and flexibility are key factors when selecting a technology provider,” said Wayne Robertson, vice president of Lincoln Property Company Boston. “Comcast worked with us within a short timeframe, following the project from start to finish and addressed all of our concerns. Having a local point of contact really helped ensure that we were given personal attention by a professional who understood our core business and the region that we serve. Allowing us to integrate television, voice and Internet services together – without taking up valuable riser and roof space – was essential to maintaining the aesthetics of our buildings.”
“We strive to provide our tenants with a combination of geographic convenience, a reasonable price point, and the very latest in luxury and technical amenities, ranging from fully-stocked cafeterias to exercise rooms and even basketball courts, so offering state-of-the-art communications technology was the next logical step for us,” continued Robertson. “We know that the services Comcast provides will help keep our tenants extremely satisfied, and firmly believe that adding high-speed, reliable communications is a key step to creating a state-of-the-art business environment for our properties, which will allow us to boost our bottom line and help attract even more tenants to the buildings we manage.”
This news about Lincoln Property Company comes on the heels of Comcast’s recent announcement of a partnership with Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA
) International, further strengthening Comcast’s ties within the real estate community.
“Times are changing, and with the advent of cloud computing, today’s tenants have come to expect a high-performance, reliable and secure network that offers scalable bandwidth to accommodate their evolving business needs,” said Terry Connell, Vice President of Sales and Sales Operations for Comcast Business Services. “Proactive building managers who are in tune with market trends are always looking for innovative ways to better serve and retain their occupants. They are finding that a wide selection of advanced voice, video and data technologies can often swing the pendulum in their favor when tenants are in the market for new office space.”
