Here’s how your Comcast Business service may be affected:
Your Internet service
If you are experiencing Internet issues and you currently have electricity, you can access the Comcast Business Internet Support Tool from My Account. Sign in to troubleshoot and restart your modem from your desktop or mobile device. During an outage, remember you can stay connected with Xfinity WiFi hotspots.
If you experience a loss of service, your local utility provider must restore power before our technicians can start restoring your services. We’ll get you back up and running as soon as possible. Once your power has been restored, restart your modem to reestablish your connection.
Your phone service
Comcast Business Voice, Voice Mobility, and VoiceEdge SelectTM
Comcast Business VoiceEdge®
Your services are hosted in the cloud, so Automated Attendants and voicemail features may continue to work during an outage. If you lose power, your phones won’t ring and you’ll be unable to make calls. Turn your personal phone into your work phone by downloading the Comcast Business App.
Features available to help keep you connected:
- Call Forwarding Not Reachable routes calls to a pre-defined number
