Comcast Business Receives 2017 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award

Comcast Business VoiceEdge Skype for Business Companion recognized for industry innovation and quality

PHILADELPHIA, PA – January 30, 2017 – Comcast Business today announced that TMC, a global integrated media company, has named the Comcast Business VoiceEdge Skype for Business Companion as a recipient of a 2017 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award. Comcast’s Skype For Business Companion dynamically provides voice service to customers while using the Skype for Business client. Using click-to-dial, customers can initiate phone calls directly from a Skype for Business contact or within a message window using a Business Voice Edge device. During a call, customers can utilize a range of basic voice features using the Companion app, such as placing a call on hold, call transfer, call resume, moving a call to a new device, looking up caller details using the web, or placing their phone on “do not disturb.” 

Comcast Business VoiceEdge is a cloud-based, managed phone system designed for smaller and mid-market businesses. It offers a range of unified communications (UC) features and has a mobile app for both IOS and Android devices.
